Shipping Policy

We are committed to providing you with exceptional service and ensuring the safe delivery of your goods. This Shipping Policy outlines our procedures and terms regarding shipping, including free residential shipping, tailgate service, appointment scheduling, and damage inspection.

1. Free Residential Shipping:
We are pleased to offer free residential shipping to our valued customers. This service allows you to have your shipment delivered directly to your residential address, at no additional cost. Please ensure that you provide accurate and complete address information to avoid any delays or delivery issues.

2. Tailgate Service:
For your convenience, we provide tailgate service for all shipments. The delivery driver should assist in unloading your shipment from the truck using a hydraulic tailgate system. This service is designed to simplify the unloading process and ensure the safe handling of your goods.

3. Appointment Scheduling:
To ensure a smooth delivery process, we offer appointment scheduling for all shipments. Once your shipment is ready for delivery, the carrier will contact you to schedule a convenient delivery appointment. This allows you to choose a specific date and time that works best for you (within their operating hours). Please ensure that you are available during the scheduled appointment time to receive your shipment. In case of any changes or rescheduling needs, please notify the carrier as soon as possible.

4. Damage Inspection:
At Go Overland Canada Inc., we take the utmost care in ensuring the hired carriers handle the goods properly in a well manner. However, despite our best instructions and packaging, damages may occur during transit. Upon delivery, we encourage you to carefully inspect the shipment for any visible damages or signs of mishandling. If you notice any issues, please make a note on the delivery receipt or bill of lading, specifying the nature of the damage.

In the event of any damages, please follow these steps:

a)NOTE ANY AND ALL DAMAGES ON THE BILL OF LADING. Failure to complete this step will result in any damage claim being rejected by the carrier.
Take clear photographs of the damaged areas on the packaging and on the tent. 
b) Report the damages to our customer service team within 24 hours of delivery. (shipping@gooverland.ca)
c) Provide all necessary documentation, including photographs and a detailed description of the damage and photo of the signed BOL noting the damage. 

Our customer service team will guide you through the claims process and work towards a satisfactory resolution. Please note that failure to report damages within 24 hours of delivery may limit our ability to assist you with a claim.

Please be aware that our shipping policy may be subject to change without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review the policy periodically for any updates or modifications.

PICK UP POLICY: 

Due to liability reasons, our PiVAL warehouse team is unable to assist in transporting boxes or other items outside of the warehouse premises. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and security of both our staff and your valuable goods. As our team cannot exit the building, we are also unable to assist with transport in the parking lot, where the liability risk is significant.

To facilitate a smooth pick-up process, we kindly request that you make the necessary arrangements to handle the transportation of your items once they have been brought to the designated pick-up area within the warehouse.
